West Bengal Board WBCHSE HS Result 2017 to be declared today at 10.30 am


The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will declare the Higher Secondary HS Class 12th Result 2017 today at 10.30 am on official websites wbchse.nic.in and wbresults.nic.in. As per PRESS RELEASE on 24th May 2017 by Dr Mahua Das, President of WBCHSE, the board would hold a press conference at 10 am today, probably to announce the toppers/merit list. WBCHSE HS Result 2017 would be made available on the websites at 10.30 am. Along with the official websites, West Bengal Board has also tied up with a host of private websites to declare the Class 12th Results. Students can also get their results through the following websites, SMS, USSD and Mobile App.

Follow the steps given below to check your result:
Log on to the official websites: wbchse.nic.in or wbresults.nic.in.
Click on ‘WBCHSE HS 12th Result 2017’ tab.
Enter details like roll number and date of birth.
Once you click on submit, your result will be displayed on the screen.
It is advisable to take a printout of the result for future.

The candidates can collect their WB Class 12th mark sheets and certificates today from their respective schools. This year nearly 8 lakh students appeared for the WB HS 12th exam, which was held from March 15 to 19. In 2016, a total of total 7,79,453 participated in the examination of which 6,79,453 were declared qualified. The total pass percentage was 83.56 percent.

Result of Madhyamik Pariksha – 2017 conducted by WBBSE, West Bengal

As per Press Note released by Sri Deb Kumar Banerjee, Special Deputy Secretary (Examination), WBBSE, Nivedita Bhawan, DJ-8, SEC.-II, Salt Lake, Kolkata-91, vide No. DS(C/54/17 Dt.25.05.2017, the Results of Madhyamik Pariksha (SE), 2017 both Regular & External will be announced by the Hon’ble President of the Board on 27th May, 2017 at 9 am through a Press Conference. The Heads of the affiliated institutions or their authorized representatives are to collect the marksheets and certificates of Madhyamik Pariksha (SE), 2017 from the selected Camp Offices on 27.05.2017 from 10 am onwards. They are to deliver the same to the candidates from the respective institutions on the same day.
The results will be available through the following websites from 10 am on that date.

CAL - COMPUTER AIDED LEARNING


Introduction

In the context of the national mandate under RTE to provide quality education to every child, by ensuring universal access, equity, universal retention and achievement, the Department of Education of West Bengal has launched a flagship program. With a new Computer Aided Learning (CAL) initiative of SSA, the Department of Education in West Bengal is seeking to fulfil the imperative of providing education that can engage the interest of every child, so that retention and learning can be ensured.

What is CAL?

CAL is an abbreviation of Computer Aided Learning and is one of the most commonly used acronyms within education. It is difficult to say exactly when the term “CAL” was first employed, however since the mid 1980s CAL has been increasingly used to describe the use of technology in teaching.

Computer Aided Learning is an integrative technology, which describes an educational environment where a computer program is used to assist the user in learning a particular subject. It refers to an overall integrated approach of instructional methods. Computer aided learning is a device/learning strategy to make teaching more interesting joyful and sustainable.
